Product Details

Moulded pulp replaces EVA and PET trays with a fibre-based part that protects just as well and goes into the paper recycling stream. Thick-wall and thermoformed grades cover everything from rough transit trays to smooth-surface retail parts.

Bagasse and bamboo fibre options are available where food contact or a whiter finish is needed.

Moulded Pulp Packaging FAQ

Can moulded pulp really replace EVA or PET trays?
In most applications yes — it protects comparably and goes into the paper recycling stream. Thick-wall, transfer and thermoformed grades cover everything from rough transit trays to smooth retail parts.
Is tooling required?
Yes, moulded pulp needs aluminium tooling, which is why the MOQ is 3,000 pieces and the lead time includes tooling. Die-cut corrugated is the lower-commitment alternative for small runs.
Can it be used for food contact?
Food-grade grades are available, and bagasse or bamboo fibre is used where a whiter finish or home-compostable claim is needed.
