Product Details
This is not a carton we ask you to import on its own. Plain shipping cartons are made close to where they are filled almost everywhere in the world, because you would be paying ocean freight to move air. What does make sense is having the master carton designed around the retail packaging it carries, and loaded into the same container.
That is what we do here. Once your gift boxes, cartons or mailers are specified, we size the master carton to that exact footprint, set the board grade against your real stack height and humidity conditions, and give you a palletisation plan. The result is fewer part-filled cartons, less void fill, and a pallet that cubes out properly.
Regular Slotted Shipping Carton FAQ
- Can I order shipping cartons on their own?
- We would usually advise against importing plain shipping cartons by themselves — you would be paying ocean freight to move air, and a local sheet plant will almost always beat that. These cartons make sense as an add-on to a retail packaging order, sized to the pack they carry and loaded in the same container.
- How do you decide the board grade?
- We specify against your actual stack height and humidity conditions rather than defaulting to the heaviest option, which typically removes 8–15% of material cost.
- What flute options are there?
- B, C and BC double wall, at 32–48 ECT depending on the load. Heavier is not automatically better — over-specifying is one of the most common avoidable costs in corrugated.
- Can you print shipping marks and handling icons?
- Yes. Shipping marks, barcodes and handling icons are printed in 1–3 colour flexo, and a palletisation plan is supplied with the quote.
